Fortunately a Swedish search and rescue helicopter was also arriving the scene. The Swedes lowered down their swimmer and here the two rescue swimmers meet, unknown to each other, in the middle of darkness and surrounded with the angry Baltic Sea.

First rescue swimmers meeting was held 2009 in Finland and Estonia. On ferry boat between Estonia and Finland during the meeting was first words said. We decided to establish forum where we can share our experiences and learn from each other. Explore collagues who are also hanging in machine with rotating blades, with same motto: Nobody gets left behind.
